ABOUT EXAM

Smartcircuits Innovation has developed a very unique Space & Astronomy Olympiad along with national and international experts in the field of Space science and technology.

The exam will be conducted on International  Space & Astronomy Olympiad 2021 website on the pre-announced dates. Candidate can attend the exam on the allocated time period via mobile or laptop. Candidate can give exam from anywhere but must have good internet connection.

There will be a total of 50 questions, 40 questions are related to Space Science & Astronomy and 10 questions are related to general reasoning and aptitude.

The total time allowed to complete the Olympiad will be 60 minutes. And a candidate can attend the test only once.

Exam Format (Preliminary)  :

Total Number of Questions : 50
Space Science & Astronomy Questions : 40
Reasoning/Aptitude Questions : 10

Time : 60 Minutes 

SAMPLE PAPER (Preliminary) : Registered candidates will get Sample Paper on International Space and Astronomy Olympiad 2021 website one week prior to the Olympiad exam date. 

Exam Format (Finale) : TBD

The Olympiad is organized online :

(i) The preliminary competition is a test of 60 minutes duration comprising 50 objective-type (Multiple Choice) questions.

(ii) The question paper consists of class wise sections or category wise:

For Class 1 to Class 3

Section-1: Space Science
Section-2: Achievers Section

For Class 4 to Class 6

Section-1: Space Science
Section-2: Achievers Section

For Class 7 to Class 12

Section-1: Space Science
Section-2: Achievers Section

(iii) IASO 2021 is conducted on 2 dates. Each school/Student/participant may select a date as per its convenience. There are separate question papers for each date of exam. Change of date for conducting the ISAO 2021 is not permitted. ISAO 2021 is a two level exam (Preliminary and Finale). The students those who have been selected in Preliminary will go to second round i.e. Finale.

(iv) The medium of the test is English.

(v) CBSE, ICSE/ISC and State Board students will participate in this Olympiad.

(vi) The exam is conducted between 9:00 hrs – 15:00 hrs.
